There is a kiteboarding launch site within walking distance and another one about a mile away. We've meet all sorts of kiteboarders and windsurfers here at the park. Activities Abound Around Laguna Madre in Corpus Christi
Park your RV near the Gulf of Mexico in Texas, but away from the Crowds!

For those who find happiness at the end of a fishing rod, you'll be pleased to know that the sparkling waters of Laguna Madre (Mother Lagoon) are home to several species of fish, including redfish and speckled trout. With depths ranging from 2.5 to 5 feet, it is ideal for angling.

Laguna Madre is also a prime windsurfing and sailboarding area. Whether you come to fish, windsurf or sail the local waters, a boat launch is available at Laguna Madre just across the street! This is a great place to spend your Spring Break!

More fishing and boating adventures await nearby! We're ten to fifteen minutes from the game and surf fishing of North Padre Island. In addition to redfish and speckled trout, the Corpus Christi Bay offers flounder, sheepshead and much more. Enjoy the challenge of saltwater fishing for pompano, shark, kingfish, snapper, sailfish, barracuda, tuna, cobia and many more on the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico!
