Hi ya'll!

It is supposed to be a high of 80 degrees today. I like the sunshine on my bones!

The roses are blooming like crazy! Our hibiscus by the front door are reaching for the bright sky too! I love the orange and red ones potted by the front door! Some people don't know that the hibiscus is the official flower of Corpus Christi.

We had an international theme for last Saturday nights covered dish dinner. It was so good. Gail Wells made labels for each food. We even had a dish from the country of Flour Bluff!

Laurence (my hubby) and Ron Lavigne and Russell Strouse went fishing Saturday and barely made it back in time for the international dinner! They thought the Redfish made up for their tardiness though!

Gary and Gail Wells plan to be back next winter and continue to be the activity director team! They have been so good at planning fun things to do!

We started using a paragraph about appearance disqualifiers in our intake questionnaire that improved the quality of the rigs we had this year. Such things as window air conditioners and duct tape repairs and wooden hatch covers torn sheet metal to name the most blatant ones. We received a wide range of responses! Some hysterical laughter and some appreciation too! Laurence and I feel that upkeep is better than age for criteria of RVs. Every RV Park is different and that is their right!

This winter we had to decline some RVers because we were so full! I think that was somewhat due to increased marketing on the internet and they liked what they heard when they called to reserve. We also had a very large amount of return visitors!

Please reserve early for next winter!
